Dear Cousin，

    As you know, I will graduate f毕业)in a few months and I can't decide what I should do after graduation．I had planned a two month trip to Argentina．I'm sure it will be fantastic．But I just found out that I have been accepted for the internship(实习期)at American Airlines．If I work hard，perhaps they will offer me a job at the end of the summer．This happened to another student last summer．Both are great，but I really need your help in making the fight decision．

If I travel to Argentina，I can relax and have fun with my friends．I have never taken a vacation with them and this might be the last time we can all travel together．Once I start working, it will be difficult to find so much time for a vacation．As for the internship，if I take it，I probably won't get any time to relax．I will have to start the day after graduation and I'll be busy working all the time．It will be very stressful．

     Despite(尽管)the stress，it will be a good start for me to work for American Airlines．Although I won't get paid，I will get experience．However, traveling to Argentina will let me practice my Spanish and I know that many companies(公司) want people with good Spanish skills．I also promised my friends that l would go with them．I really don't want to let them down．

    What should I do? I'm looking forward to your advice．

    Playing is serious business for children．In fact, it's what they do best! Ask them why they do it, and kids will probably say, "Because it's fun!" But it's much more than that．It's also good for them．

    Studies show that from birth babies begin learning through playing．They use their five senses to get to know their new world．Touching allows them to discover how different things feel．Brightly coloured toys and clothing help develop a baby's sense of sight (视觉)．When small children choose which toy to play with, they begin developing their abilities in making decisions．

    Children love toys that allow them to use their imagination (想象力)．Sometimes an empty box is more fun than a high-tech (高科技) toy．That's because a box can become anything to a child．

    Crayons, paints and Play-Doh (彩色塑泥) are also good because they allow children to create．Traditional building blocks teach important pre-maths skills．

Playing doesn't become any less important once children start school．Many valuable lessons about life are learned on the school playground．Kids learn how to share, take turns and play by the rules．

    Canada is a big country with a large area, but it has a small population. It lies in North America with oceans around it in three directions except in the south, where the United States is. The Great Lakes are between Canada and the United States. There are many lakes and islands in the coastal areas. Canadians care about the environment very much. The government and the people in Canada try their best to protect the environment. So in Canada, the air is fresh, the water is clean, and the sky is blue. Many tourists like to travel in Canada and live there for some time to relax themselves.

    The climate in Canada is different from area to area. It is wet in the west and east, but cold in the north and south. Canada is rich in natural resources, such as forests, fresh water, coal, oil, and so on. Farmland mainly lies in the south where farmers grow lots of corn and wheat. There are many big farms there. The farmers work hard so that the people in Canada can get enough good food for their daily life. Industry in this country is well developed and the transportation is very convenient. Living surroundings in Canada are the best in the world. Canadians enjoy themselves and live a happy life.

    One of the things you need to do is to make sure that your mind doesn't wander(漫游). It's easy to start thinking about other things, especially when you're not interested in the subject. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}

    Next, listen for the main ideas. If you want to catch every little piece of information, you'll feel tired and bored. You'll also need to look at the teacher. Not only does this show respect (尊重) to the teacher,  it also helps prevent your mind from wandering. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}Or it could just be someone talking to their neighbors who shouldn't be, it can even be some birds outside the classroom window, or a group of kids who are talking loudly as they pass the door to your room.

    Finally, you need to take notes because you can not remember everything the teacher says. You'll have to take down the notes so that you can study it after class. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}

    Listening isn't always easy, but if you follow these simple steps, you'll be much more successful in your classes.

    At one time, making a film was an expensive activity only for a small group of people and film companies. Not only were the machines expensive but the cost of film was also far greater than most people could afford. However, modem technology has changed all that.

    New technology has really opened up the world of film-making for film fans. Now a camera does not cost much and most young people are certainly able to pay for it. So all you need is to get one for yourself. With that, you may then start your own film-making.

    However, film-making is tiring work. You probably need many other people to help you. For example, the population of actors and actresses is very important in your film. Of course, these actors and actresses may be your schoolmates, friends or family members. You don't even need to pay them a cent while they are glad to be part of your job.

    Besides, you need to make up a story. Can you write your own one? If you have good imagination, you can create an attractive story character. Many world-famous film makers and producers are also good story-writers. If not, perhaps you need someone else to write it for you. An excellent story is the key to making a successful film.
