It was Sunday. The weather was very fine. The students of Class One went out for a {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. They went by {#blank#}2{#/blank#} with fruits, vegetables, meat, cookers and some {#blank#}3{#/blank#} things. At about half past ten, they {#blank#}4{#/blank#} at the foot of a hill. There was a big lake and many green trees there. Birds were singing and the air was very fresh. The students were {#blank#}5{#/blank#} preparing for the picnic. Some of them were getting {#blank#}6{#/blank#} from the lake, some were washing vegetables and fruits, and others were putting a big cloth {#blank#}7{#/blank#} the grass. At about twelve o'clock the lunch was ready.

    After lunch, they had a good time by singing, dancing, drinking and talking. At three o'clock, they began to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} the hill. The hill was quite {#blank#}9{#/blank#}, but they all tried to reach the {#blank#}10{#/blank#} of it. On the hill, they felt very excited and all cheered.

    How are you？I had a great time last Monday, June 2th, 2014.It was a traditional Chinese festival {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (call) Dragon Boat Festival that day.

    This festival is in memory of Qu Yuan, one of the greatest Chinese poets. He killed himself by {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (jump) into the Miluo River on May 5th of the lunar calendar, 278 BC. People there rowed the boats {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (save) him. But it was too late. They were very sad and then threw rice into the river to feed the fishes so that they would stay away from his body.

    From then on, every year on this day, people enjoy making Zongzi which {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (make) of rice with meat, eggs and so on. In the past we  {#blank#}5{#/blank#} (eat) it only once a year, but now we regard it as our daily food. We can have it any time we like.

    Have you ever {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (watch) the dragon boat race on TV？It is another important part of this festival. Several teams row their dragon shaped boats as fast as they can. The first team to reach the finish line {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (win).
