The name of my best friend is Joyce. She cares about me a lot. She always helps me. I met her in Class 6 and became best friend. She is my true friend because she understands me very well and cares about my every need. I like her very much. I never had any friends like her ever before. She comes to my home and I also go to her home. Our parents respect(尊重) us very much and like our friendship. She is so important to me that I never want to lose her. Whenever I get absent(缺席的) from the class, she helps me do all the left homework and classwork. She is similar to me in many ways. She never argues with me. She is an open-minded girl and never feels bad about my misbehaviour. She is very funny and makes me laugh through her interesting jokes and talks in our spare time. She is very cute and attractive. And she draws everyone's attention by her smile. She always encourages me to do better in class and exams. We are good at sports and academic activities. We manage to share things in difficult times. We always perform better in class tests and main exams. 

My son Sam is 16 and autistic (患自闭症的). It was Sam's very first day at high school. We'd set up a 1 of how he'd get home: I'd pick him up outside the 2 near his school at 3:30 p.m.

Unknown to me, very bad weather was on its way, and I was 3 . But because of his dead phone battery, I was 4 to communicate that to him. 5 , he became very upset and frightened outside the shop, exactly where I'd told him to wait.

This was 6 a beautiful old lady not only went to check on him, but took him inside her shop, 7 him down, got my phone number from him and called me. After that my son would go into her shop every afternoon, buy a drink and have a 8 .

Sam graduates this year, and I'm increasingly feeling the need to 9 the shop to let this 10 lady know that she helped Sam, and that she saved me from the situation. I'm not sure if I can 11 all of this, but at least I will get to thank her.

There are people I will not get to thank, though — the many kind strangers who have been there for Sam. And believe me, if you're wondering if this world is a complete 12 right now, I'm here to say that it is not.

So I guess this is a love letter to those of you who have helped a 13 out of the goodness of your heart. Please know that you as well as your beautiful heart and kindness are 14 , and perhaps 15 , you have made a great difference in someone's life.

My name is Amy. This is my desk. 1 on the desk? It's my bag. The 2 is white. A watch, 2 pens, 3 CDs and a picture 3 in it. The watch is from my sister. It is 4 . I like blue, and it is my favorite color. That is my pen. What color is 5 ? It's purple. It is from my friend Grace. The 6 CDs are yellow 7 white. 8 are from my father. The picture is from my mother. It's a picture 9 her room. Her room is tidy. Where is my hat? Oh, it's 10 my head.

Little Tom has a pet dog in his home. The dog is very cute. Tom likes to play with it.It's 2:30 in the afternoon. The house is quiet.

"Tom?" Mum calls. No one answers.

Mum comes to Tom's room. He is not on the bed, but his model plane(飞机模型)is on the desk. Mum goes to the yard but she doesn't find him." He is not in his room, and he is not in the yard," Mum thinks. Then Mum comes to Tom's grandparents' room. Tom likes to play with his grandpa's radio(收音机),but he is not there.

Mum looks for Tom everywhere. Where is Tom? Mum is worried. She wants to call Dad. She comes to the living room(客厅)to get the phone.

"What's that?" Mum sees something(某物) under the table. Oh, it's Eric, Tom's dog. It likes sleeping there. What is next to Eric? It's Tom!

What is kindness? It may be giving a helping hand to others when they are in trouble. Because of this help, someone who loses their way in darkness might see the light of hope. Perhaps the good actions you do are no big deal to you, but be of great help to others. 

I remember the year before last when I saw a big box near our house. I didn't know what it was. I took a look and found that it was a donation (捐赠) box. People could put clothes in it to donate to people living in poor areas. I saw many people donating their clothes. I was very moved (感动) by this and told my mother about it. The next day, I went to the box and put some of my own clothes inside. I was very excited. 

Some time later, someone sent me a letter saying "thank you" for my donation. I was once again deeply moved. 

We should give a hand when others need help. Do your best to do so.
