Schoolchildren today are {#blank#}1{#/blank#} much pressure to do well at school. They are told that they must work hard, do homework and pass exams. However, Summerhill is a {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (real) different school where the students go to classes when they want to and don't have to do homework or exams.

    The school was set up in the year 1921 and remains open today. It offers a wide range of subjects, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (include) science, math, and foreign languages. Although there is a special timetable for all {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (class), the students decide {#blank#}5{#/blank#}they want to do each day.

    It might come as a surprise to learn that the school has a lot of rules {#blank#}6{#/blank#} students and staff have to follow. The students and staff meet four times a week to make decisions about what happens in {#blank#}7{#/blank#} school, and to set rules.

    Summer hill isn't right {#blank#}8{#/blank#} all children. The school sometimes tells students to leave if {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (they) negative attitude upsets other people. However, most students enjoy themselves at Summerhill and are {#blank#}10{#/blank#}(success) in their careers.
