What's the most popular school activity among American students? The{#blank#}1{#/blank#}  is the school dance. Most American high schools have at least two dances {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  the year, one in winter and the other in spring. Students attend these events {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  it's a great opportunity for them to meet {#blank#}4{#/blank#}  friends.
     At the dance, there will be snacks and photo booths (机器拍照亭), as well as strict（严格的） rules to {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  create a healthy and enjoyable evening for all students. And all the dancers will be given a security check（安检）before they come into the dance {#blank#}6{#/blank#} . This is acceptable. But some rules may be a little bit over the top（过分). For example, a school once asked {#blank#}7{#/blank#}  students to keep a standing position while they were dancing. That {#blank#}8{#/blank#}  the students couldn't do anything freely. You'd {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  not break the rules because you'll be asked to leave there, or even worse, be placed on a do not invite list.

    Being outgoing is good for your life. Those who are {#blank#}1{#/blank#} outgoing like to meet lots of people and have more fun in life. In fact, being outgoing is not so {#blank#}2{#/blank#} as you think. Even shy people can be very outgoing.
    You can{#blank#}3{#/blank#} becoming outgoing with your best friend or a group of friends. But the real challenge (挑战) comes {#blank#}4{#/blank#} you meet strange people or new friends. Smile more, and usually they will {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  you a smile. In this way, you may have some talks.
Start a{#blank#}6{#/blank#} . Just a simple "Hello" or " How is it going" is a good Start. If you want to make interesting talks, you should read news in{#blank#}7{#/blank#} and prepare your views, or surf the Internet
{#blank#}8{#/blank#} new information and then keep that in mind.
    The {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  way to become more outgoing is to go out. This is also the most important step （步骤）. Go to a park, beach, club, party or any other place that you {#blank#}10{#/blank#} can be fun, and you may make new friends there.
