I like reading in my free time．I've read all kinds of books which are {#blank#}1{#/blank#} by many famous writers from all over the world．But I like a Chinese writer {#blank#}2{#/blank#}．His name is Xu Zhimo．

    Xu was born in a big family．His parents were good at writing．His father taught little Xu by {#blank#}3{#/blank#} ．When Xu was very young，he was {#blank#}4{#/blank#}  in reading．Fables(寓言)and novels were his favorites．He loved reading very much and he often forgot to eat and {#blank#}5{#/blank#}．

    When Xu was about six years old，he began to write some {#blank#}6{#/blank#} ．He kept practicing writing and did better and better．But he still kept on reading， {#blank#}7{#/blank#} he always believed "Reading makes a full man"．

    When he grew up，his dream came {#blank#}8{#/blank#} ．He became a world-famous writer．Not only Chinese but also people {#blank#}9{#/blank#} other countries worshiped(崇拜) him．His works(著作) were enjoyed all over the world．Everyone {#blank#}10{#/blank#} his works were nice and great．

    This summer, my family and my aunt's family went to {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Parks in Canada. We spent most of the time hiking(徒步).

    One day, we hiked to a popular hiking way in Canada. Everything was beautiful. My cousin and I saw lots of {#blank#}2{#/blank#} animals like squirrels(松鼠) and chipmunks(花栗鼠). Surprisingly we saw a chipmunk with dirty hands. His hands were {#blank#}3{#/blank#} of berry juice! My cousin and I named it Jairo. We 7{#blank#}4{#/blank#} that Jairo was a very clever chipmunk. He {#blank#}5{#/blank#} us the whole time. My cousin said, “Do you want to shake {#blank#}6{#/blank#}with him?” So I held out my hand. I could {#blank#}7{#/blank#}believe it when he touched my hand! It was the {#blank#}8{#/blank#}time in my life I had touched a wild animal. I did it! What an {#blank#}9{#/blank#} moment!

    At that moment, I believed that animals could be friends. People and animals should live together {#blank#}10{#/blank#}.

    When it comes to the holiday, people start to think {#blank#}1{#/blank#} they could spend it. Most people are {#blank#}2{#/blank#} from work, so they want to have a good rest and they choose a beach to spend the holiday. This is a great way to relax. People can play beach volleyball, swim in the sea, {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the sun or just play the guitar on the beach all day.

    But some people like camping (野营) very much. So they choose a camping holiday. They bring some food, {#blank#}4{#/blank#} and sleeping bags to a beautiful place. It {#blank#}5{#/blank#} be in the forest or near a river. People feel very happy.

    Many people choose different {#blank#}6{#/blank#} to spend their holidays now. This is a holiday {#blank#}7{#/blank#} their homes. They invite friends, sit down at the table outside and spend time {#blank#}8{#/blank#} fun. I think all of these ways of spending holidays are very fun.

    Once the world {#blank#}1{#/blank#} green plants and the living things led a peaceful life {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. However, later some animals {#blank#}3{#/blank#} and was even killed for money. There are not many {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Luckily, people are trying to save the animals in danger now. We all hope that all the living things will live a pleasant life as before {#blank#}5{#/blank#}.

    For every student, every day is different. But do you enjoy your school life?

    Nowadays, it seems that the school life is not as {#blank#}1{#/blank#} as we thought. As we grow up， our pressure of study also grows. Many of my classmates don't go to bed {#blank#}2{#/blank#}11 p.m.or12 p.m. It seems that stress and pressure are {#blank#}3{#/blank#} of a colorful school life. But in my school, the life in Grade 9 isn't so depressing (令人沮丧的).

    My classmates are very outgoing and {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Although our head teacher is strict {#blank#}5{#/blank#} us in our studies, we also feel very happy and do the schoolwork well.

    Sometimes, we may read some magazines to relax {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. But I {#blank#}7{#/blank#} to do some reading and write something in my diary. These activities can help me get rid of stress from studying.

    In other words, we can do many fun things to enrich our school lives, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} let's enjoy ourselves at school.

    {#blank#}9{#/blank#}, the final exam is coming soon. I's time for us to {#blank#}10{#/blank#} ourselves. We should try our best to do well in it.
