It was a fine spring day for a walk down the street. A mother and her two little girls walked along the sidewalk, happily laughing.  1, a hundred small alien ships appeared on the horizon. They started  2 off some electric rays. People screamed. Children cried. There was  3 everywhere.

    There came the tingling sound of glasses breaking everywhere. People fled in every   4. The mother was jostled (推) and lost hold of her 5. She raced around shouting and crying for her kids. She thought they were lost to her forever.

    The sky cleared up. The aliens were 6. But there was no sight of the children. Heart-broken, the mother reached her house, crying her eyes out.

    She heard someone 7“Mamma”. Was it her kids? She frantically (慌忙地) 8 around. There they were! Hand in hand they came running towards her. She ran towards them, too. Her arms stretched out 9 to hug them. She opened her eyes. The pillow felt wet. It was a dream!

    Bill, a thirteen-year-old boy, thought he had grown up to be a man, but his parents told him, "You won't be a real man until you begin to 1 helping others."

    One morning, his parents gave him some money to 2 some milk for them. Outside a shop he saw a homeless old man who looked very 3. Bill went to him and asked, "What's wrong with you?"

    The old man answered, "I'm hungry. I haven't had any food for two days." At the thought of his parents' words, Bill said to the old man, "Let's go to the 4." When they got there, Bill asked the waiter to bring out bread and coffee to the old man. The old man finished the meal quickly.     It was a very hot and dry summer. There was no1all seasons（季节）. The lakes and2dried up, so two frogs（青蛙）went to find some3. The two frogs hopped（跳）all morning, and couldn't find4water. In the afternoon, the two frogs found a deep well（井）. One frog excitedly jumped on to the well（井）5looked inside.

    "Look!" the first frog6,"7is water down there. It looks good. Let's jump in! "

The8frog didn't agree. "No," it said. "9the weather is always dry like this, then the well might dry up, too. We will be stuck（受困的）without water again and won't be able to get out. What will we do10? "

    "You're right," the first frog agreed. "It's always wise（明智的）to think twice（两次）before you jump into something. "

    Christopher Wilson, a Texas-based DJ and producer, is better known by his stage name, Riot Ten. But what's unbelievable about him and his family's journey is that he has never let negative situations shake or shape his direction.

    From a young age, Wilson knew he wanted to go for1. When dropping out at seventeen and having little family support, he still started his career as an uphill battle.

    "Thinking positive, thinking big is huge for success," he said, "I've always imagined myself rich, successful and at the top of everything I did. I really believe in positivity... That positive energy shows itself in work and opportunities."

    Wilson took this energy and ran with it, slowly building a career and name for himself in the music industry, despite criticism from others, financial (money) challenges and the difficulty of 2 both his duties as a father, and his great love for making music.

    With the birth of Wilson's second child, Kai, however, both his positive attitude and career were3 dramatically.

    On September 3, 2017, Kai was born-weighing less than two pounds and with a large welt on the side of his head. Kai was said to have less than a 50% chance of living, and if he did live, there was a 50% chance he'd have cerebral palsy (脑性瘫痪). For Wilson, this was terrifying -the unknown, the fear of 4 his child. He also felt the powerlessness in watching Kai struggle to5 on his own. Wilson was then told Kai was missing a part of his brain, something that would affect all motor skills.

    He had no 6; he just had to wait. But even in the moments of fear, of helplessness, of pain, Wilson kept positive. He kept creating, kept believing and kept moving forward.

    In the course of a few months, he had answers. Kai didn't have cerebral palsy, and he would survive. After one month of a breathing tube, Kai was able to breathe on his own, and even began to show7 baby behavior.

    "I've always thought everything happens for a reason," Wilson says, "Kai probably shouldn't be alive, and he somehow made it. And everything we expected to happen- his coming out 8, not having cerebral palsy, being able to breathe on his own- it all worked out. There's a plan for everything."

    It's this attitude that has 9 Riot Ten to success. He released his second EP (唱片), "Hype or Die: The Dead EP" on February 16, 2017, and his song," Rail Breaker" has hit No.1 on all dubstep charts.

No matter what life throws at us, Wilson has continued to stay positive and share his passion for music with the world.

    Mr. White is a blind man who likes traveling alone. However, as a blind man, he has met a lot of 1 during his trips.

    Once Mr. White traveled to Texas. It was his first time to go there. On the plane, he sat next to a woman who 2 Texas. The woman told him that everything was 3 and better in her city. When Mr. White arrived, he found a4and decided to spend the night there.

    After dinner, Mr. White went to a wine bar(酒吧) and ordered a glass of wine. When the waiter brought him one, he was 5." Wow！How big!" he said. Mr. White doesn't drink often, 6 he was a little drunk (喝醉) after drinking the wine. He wanted to go to the restroom, so he asked another waiter for 7. "Turn right at the information desk and it is the second door on the right," said the waiter.

    When Mr. White walked past the first door, he fell down. He missed(错过) the 8 and went towards the third door instead. Not realizing that he had entered the swimming area, he walked forward and then9into the swimming pool. At that time he10that everything there was bigger. "Don't flush(冲洗)! Don't flush!" he shouted as soon as he got his head above water.
