    I am a Canadian girl aging 17 and I' m mad about music. It is one of the most important thing in my life. I listen music whenever I can. I have a minidisk player, with it I can have access to music whether walking in the street or ride on the bike. At home, there is a CD player in my room, but music is on all the time. I like rock music better of all and my favorite band is Rolling stones. It so happened that there had a live concert of Rolling stones last Sunday. I went there and it was a great fun.     As a senior three student, it won't take long after I graduate. Now, I have many to share with my fellow students.

    Firstly, I'd like to show my appreciation to those who stand by me all the way, teachers, parents and friends including. Without their help or advice, my life will be different. Secondly, it's high time for I to say sorry to the classmates whom I hurt or misunderstood. I firm believe that communication and smiles act as bridges to friendship.     Recently, the Ministry of Education has issued a requirement which students should be given labor education while at the school, which arouses a heated debate.

    As for students, opinion are divided. Some students think that it will be great benefit for their health, enabled them to be well developed. On the other hand, some students hold the view that this kind of education will take up our time, which will be spent studying otherwise. But it will have a negative effect on their grades.

    It was true that students are given little chance of laboring nowadays, thus lacking the sense of labor. So as far as I am concerned, students definite should receive labor education so that they will value more that labor brings about.

    It is almost five years since I begin to learn English. I'm glad to say I'm getting along good with it. But first I came across a lot of difficulties. I couldn't pronounce English words well, so could I remember the words I had learned. I couldn't even understand that the teacher had said in class. When I almost lost heart, the teacher told me, "Keeping on, and you'll do well." I was greatly encouraged. I started working hard at English. Under the help of him and my classmates, I've made a great progress. I am very pleasing and I'll work even hard in future.
