On a cold winter day, a fox {#blank#}1{#/blank#} mother bear that he would teach her how to fish. As she{#blank#}2{#/blank#} to learn, he took her to a hole in the ice, and told her to put her tail down in the water. He told her to keep the tail there for{#blank#}3{#/blank#} . Then{#blank#}4{#/blank#} she pulled the tail out of the water, she would find fish around the tail. The bear was foolish enough to believe{#blank#}5{#/blank#} the fox said. She sat for a long time with her tail in the water. She was {#blank#}6{#/blank#} the fish. But when she{#blank#}7{#/blank#} to pull her tail lout of the water, she found that it was frozen in the ice. She asked the fox to pull her out. But he laughed to himself and {#blank#}8{#/blank#} . so she called father bear to help her. Father bear came. He pulled hard and {#blank#}9{#/blank#} got her out, but a part of her tail was in the ice. That is{#blank#}10{#/blank#} people find the bear's tail so short.

You may think there is nothing but sand in the desert of the world, but it is not true. In the desert we can{#blank#}1{#/blank#} stones. We can see hills, too. There is a little rain in the {#blank#}2{#/blank#} , but it is not  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  for most plants.
　　The animals are{#blank#}4{#/blank#} to the desert people in many ways. The desert people eat the meat and drink the milk of the animals. They use their skins to  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  shoes, water bags and even tents(帐篷). They use the camels(骆驼) for {#blank#}6{#/blank#} things.
The people of the desert have to keep {#blank#}7{#/blank#}  from places to place. They must always look for grass or desert plants for their animals. They usually live in the tents. When there is mo more food for their animals, they take down their tents, put them on the camels and move to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} place. The desert people are very  {#blank#}9{#/blank#} . No man in the desert would ever refuse to help the people in {#blank#}10{#/blank#} and give them food and water
