The sun was going down when we arrived at the ground floor of the building. I was afraid of going to the top of tall buildings, so I was a little   {#blank#}1{#/blank#}   when I walked into a lift. The lift climbed faster and faster  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  we reached the 88th floor. It  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}   high up there, but I was not afraid when I stood at the top.

  The Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai is 420.5   {#blank#}4{#/blank#}   high. It is one of the tallest buildings in the world. It {#blank#}5{#/blank#}    in 1999, and it has a fantastic view of Pudong District and the centre of Shanghai. I really like t he tower and I am sure I will visit it again.

    Mark is my brother's good friend．He is a student in a{#blank#}1{#/blank#}school．He is clever．When he was six，he{#blank#}2{#/blank#}to go to school．At school he is good at all his subjects．He can speak two{#blank#}3{#/blank#}，Chinese and English．And he speaks them very well．He likes making {#blank#}4{#/blank#}．And he likes flying them．One week ago， he，my brother and I went{#blank#}5{#/blank#}in the mountains．That day we had a great time there．

    Mike is a middle school student. He used to play computer games. He thought he could get a lot of{#blank#}1{#/blank#}from the games. Sometimes he didn't go to school and{#blank#}2{#/blank#}in a net bar all day. The teacher{#blank#}3{#/blank#}his parents and told them that Mike didn't come to{#blank#}4{#/blank#}.After his parents knew he played computer games in net bars, they were{#blank#}5{#/blank#}with Mike and decided not to{#blank#}6{#/blank#}him pocket money any more. He couldn't play computer games{#blank#}7{#/blank#}he had no money. Every time he{#blank#}8{#/blank#}a net bar, he stopped to take a look,{#blank#}9{#/blank#}he didn't get into it. After a long{#blank#}10{#/blank#}, he gave up playing computer games. Now he has become a good student.

A: Where did you go last night?

B: I went to see a robot show.

B: Yes. They looked very funny.

A: What did they {#blank#}2{#/blank#}?

B: They sang and {#blank#}3{#/blank#}, sometimes fast and sometimes slowly.

A: Could they speak like people?

B: One of them could. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}it offered customers food, it could answer their simple questions. Though its voice sounded a little strange. It could speak very {#blank#}5{#/blank#}.

    For every student, every day is different. But do you enjoy your school life?

    Nowadays, it seems that the school life is not as {#blank#}1{#/blank#} as we thought. As we grow up， our pressure of study also grows. Many of my classmates don't go to bed {#blank#}2{#/blank#}11 p.m.or12 p.m. It seems that stress and pressure are {#blank#}3{#/blank#} of a colorful school life. But in my school, the life in Grade 9 isn't so depressing (令人沮丧的).

    My classmates are very outgoing and {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Although our head teacher is strict {#blank#}5{#/blank#} us in our studies, we also feel very happy and do the schoolwork well.

    Sometimes, we may read some magazines to relax {#blank#}6{#/blank#}. But I {#blank#}7{#/blank#} to do some reading and write something in my diary. These activities can help me get rid of stress from studying.

    In other words, we can do many fun things to enrich our school lives, {#blank#}8{#/blank#} let's enjoy ourselves at school.
