Life（生活）was different in my grandpa's hometown many years ago.

    In the past, people cooked on a fire. They didn't have TVs or radios. There were no buses. They had to live in small houses. They didn't have enough food.

    Now, there are lots of buses and cars in Grandpa's hometown. They live in big houses or buildings. They cook with natural gas（天然气）and have lots of food. They can use mobile phones（手机）. They even have computers and use the Internet.

    The story is about two mice(老鼠). They are friends. One mouse lives in the country. The other lives in the city. One day they meet each other. The one in the country says, “Come and have a look at my house.” They come to a house in a field. The country mouse gives the city mouse nice food. But the city mouse says.” This food is not good. You must come and live with me in the city.”

    So they go to the house of the city mouse. It is a very good house. Nice food is ready(准备) for them to eat. But just when they begin to eat, they hear a great noise, 'Run! Run! The cat is coming! ”the two friends run away quickly. After some time, they go out. The country mouse says to the city mouse, “I don't like to live in the city. It's dangerous.

    I'm Linda. I'm a pupil of Experimental Primary School. I'm in Class 2, Grade 4.There are fifty pupils in our class. Twenty-six are boys and twenty-four are girls. Jackson is our English teacher and Miss Lin is our Chinese teacher. They're reading books in their office now. Mr. Tong is our Maths(数学) teacher. He is playing the recorder in the music room. They're very kind(和蔼的). We love them.

    Today is Sunday. My family are all at home. It's eleven thirty now. Look! My mother is cooking lunch. My father is watching TV. My sister is playing games in the living room. Where's my grandfather? Oh, he is reading a book in his bedroom. What am I doing? Haha, I'm drawing a picture of my family. Look, who is playing with the ball? Oh, it is my lovely cat.

My name is Linda. I am a girl. I am ten years old. I have a school bag. It's very cute. There are many things in it. I have a red pencil-case. It's red and yellow. In the pencil-case, I have five pencils and two rubbers. I also have three rulers. They are blue. I have many books in the schoolbag. I like my bag. Listen! It's time for class. I can hear the bell.
