Now, lots of parents take their children from activity to activity. So, many {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  are under too much pressure. Teachers also complain about {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  tired kids in the classroom. {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  parents are nothing new, but now parents seem to push their children a lot {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. In some families, competition {#blank#}5{#/blank#}  from a very young age. Parents see other children {#blank#}6{#/blank#}  a lot of things, and they feel their own children should do the same. Children say their parents are always comparing {#blank#}7{#/blank#}  with other children. They think parents shouldn't push them so {#blank#}8{#/blank#}. They may find it hard {#blank#}9{#/blank#}  for themselves when they are older. So please give children more {#blank#}10{#/blank#}  to relax.

    Everyone likes their childhood and wishes to go back there. I also have a wonderful {#blank#}1{#/blank#}.

    There are many sweet {#blank#}2{#/blank#} in it and I want to share some {#blank#}3{#/blank#} you. During my childhood I lived with my family. I have an elder sister and a younger brother and we used to play a game called "{#blank#}4{#/blank#} sale". It means "selling" old things like old toys, clothes, books, {#blank#}5{#/blank#} etc. in the front yard and we "bought" it with cards（扑克牌）instead of money. We had so much fun.

    Like other children, I also played a lot with many {#blank#}6{#/blank#} during my childhood. Children are always crazy about their toys. I {#blank#}7{#/blank#} two cute toy bears in my childhood and they were my favorite. They felt so {#blank#}8{#/blank#} and comfortable that I fell {#blank#}9{#/blank#} with them every night.

    I {#blank#}10{#/blank#} them as my best friends then and I didn't share them with anyone. Whenever someone touched them, I would cry loudly.

    This is my childhood. Do you have any kind of sweet memories like this?

    When young people in the United States get together for fun, probably they will dance. The ways that boys and girls dance will often change every year. They{#blank#}1{#/blank#}learning the newest dances.

    Years ago, the dances of young people were not very different from those of their parents, but high school and college students of today have{#blank#}2{#/blank#}their own music and dances. They like the new music that people can dance to in different ways.

    In the USA, there are many dances that are loved by young people, but the history of the dances isn't{#blank#}3{#/blank#}, the Twist(摇摆舞), for example. In the late 1950s, Chubby Checker started a dance that he called the "Twist" to make himself slim. The Twist, like many new dances, was very lively, and people who performed it used a lot of{#blank#}4{#/blank#}, After performing his new dance hundreds of times, Chubby was no longer as fat as before. The word "chubby" means "very fat". That was why the singer and dancer called him Chubby.

    Last Friday night, the weather was really bad. It was raining heavily. I was {#blank#}1{#/blank#}. There would be a school trip to a country park the next day and I was afraid that the trip would be canceled (被取消) because of the bad {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. I went to bed early that night, hoping that it would be a nice day the next day.

    I woke up early the next morning. I looked {#blank#}3{#/blank#} the window. The rain stopped! The sky was full of clouds. It was cloudy. I quickly {#blank#}4{#/blank#} the television for the weather report. The report said it wouldn't be {#blank#}5{#/blank#} on the weekend. Great!

    I went to school and everybody was excited that {#blank#}6{#/blank#} school trip was not canceled. When we arrived at the country park, we {#blank#}7{#/blank#} that the sun was shining. We played games and enjoyed our lunch there. However, we couldn't fly the kite {#blank#}8{#/blank#} it was not windy at all.

    At four o'clock, it was time to {#blank#}9{#/blank#}. Miss Black said it might become foggy (有雾的) soon and we might not be able to see {#blank#}10{#/blank#} clearly. So we picked up our things quickly and left.
