My First day at college

    I remember my first day at college. I {#blank#}1{#/blank#} at 8:30 and {#blank#}2{#/blank#} lessons at 9:00. We {#blank#}3{#/blank#} from 9:00 to 11:00. The teachers {#blank#}4{#/blank#}to us a lot! Then we{#blank#}5{#/blank#}basketball for an hour. At noon we {#blank#}6{#/blank#} lunch at the canteen (食堂). In the afternoon we continued (继续) the lessons and {#blank#}7{#/blank#} to the teacher carefully. Then at 4:30 the lessons {#blank#}8{#/blank#}. It was a long and tiring day!

    Each spring brings many wildflowers along the highway that I travel to work. There is one special blue {#blank#}1{#/blank#}that has always caught my eyes. Every day for two weeks.

    I see the beautiful flowers.

    This spring, I started a wildflower garden in our yard. I can {#blank#}2{#/blank#}out of the kitchen window while doing the {#blank#}3{#/blank#}and see the flowers. I've often thought that those lovely blue flowers along the highway would look great in my wildflower {#blank#}4{#/blank#}.

    Every day I drove past the flowers thinking, "I'll stop on my way home and dig {#blank#}5{#/blank#}But I didn't want to get my clean clothes dirty... "I never {#blank#}6{#/blank#} to dig them One day on my way home from work, I was {#blank#}7{#/blank#}to see the highway workers had cut off the pretty blue flowers.
