    As is well-known that birds are our friends. But the large number of birds have been killed for food. The other day I was walking in the woods while a shot was heard.     Today my father and I drove to visit Li Wei, whom we have been supporting for two year.

    I used to being a shy girl in my primary school. I was weak in English at that time, especially my speaking English, but I was afraid to answer the teacher's questions in class. After I entered my dream middle school, something changes. I started to read many interesting English story and my English teacher helped me a lot of. I studied hard in class and practiced by watching English films and listen to English songs in ray spare time. Little by little, I found me more and more interfiling to learn English, I could even talk with my classmates fluent in English. At last, I got high grades in English and I had confidence do it better in the future.

    I went shopping with my wife. We have a lot of things to buy them. We drove to the center of the city and stopped our car in front of the shop. An hour late, we came back to the car. And it was strange that we couldn't open the door. So we asked policeman for help. He was glad to help him. After a few minutes, he got the door open. Just then a man came up and shouted angry. “What are you doing with my car?” We were surprising and went to see the number of the car. What do you think we did then? We had to speak sorry to the man again and again.

    When I was eight, my father bought me the new bike for my birthday. My brother offered to teach me how to ride. At first, they rode and let me watching. Then he explained me the skills of controlling the bike. Still puzzling, I got on the bike, but it doesn't move as expected. I lost my balance and fall off the bike. At once I burst into tear because I saw blood on the ground. While I stood up, my left leg hurt bad. Later, I learned to ride a bike. But this experience told me that though some lessons were painful to learn them, yet we could benefit a lot.

    I'm glad that you will compete in the final of the Chinese Speech Contest. Congratulation to you! Here are my advice on how to make good preparations for your speech.

    First, pick a interesting topic so that the audience won't get boring. Second, do broad researches on the topic to satisfy the audience's hunger for knowledge. Then write your speech and turn to your Chinese teachers for help, which advice will be beneficial. Besides, much attention should be paying to your voice or body language. Try to speak as fluent as possible. In a word, you'd better do whatever you can win the contest.
