An old woman lived in the country. She had three sons. They were Kim, Mike and John.They left home to make money and became rich soon. This year they came back together on Mother's Day. Each of them had a gift for their mother.

    Kim bought a big and beautiful house for mum. Mike sent her a car. John's gift was a parrot that could speak to mum.

    Several days later, mum sent them letters of thanks:

    “Kim,” she wrote to one son, “ the house you bought is so large. I live in one room, but I have to clean the whole house.”

    “Mike,”she wrote to another, “I am too old to travel. I spend most of the time at home, so I don't use the car.”

    “Dearest John,”she wrote to her third son, “you really know what I like. The chick was delicious. Thanks.”

Saturday, 18th March

    It was fine today. Lily and I visited the Science Museum. It is far away from our homes, so we met (meet过去式) at my house and went there by underground together.

    We arrived at the museum at 9 o'clock. At the museum, we saw a lot of interesting things. We touched a wall, and it became a window. The robots there were amazing too!

    We met some classmates and friends there. We learnt a lot about science.

    We left (leave过去式) the museum at 4 o'clock in the afternoon.

    We enjoyed ourselves very much.

    Hi. My name is Zhangpeng. I'm 11 years old. I'm 1. 62 metres tall. I'm 45 kilo-grams. I like drawing pictures. Every morning, I go to school with my good friend Dongdong. We go on fool. Dongdong is 11 years old. He's 2 kilograms heavier than me. But I'm 3 cm taller than him. We study in No. 1 Primary School. Wenwen is my sister. We're in the same (一样) school.
