A Clock and a Watch

    We can tell the time by a clock or by a watch. A clock is big; it is usually on the wall or on the table. A watch is small; we can put it in the pocket (口袋), or wear it on the wrist（手腕）! A clock or a watch usually has a round face. It has two hands, a long one and a short one. Tom's clock can speak and call him to get up every day. His watch has a picture of a lovely dog on the face. He likes it very much.

    There are many animals in the zoo．The elephants are big．My father likes elephants．The monkeys ale cute．I like moneys．The tigers are very strong．My mother likes tigers．The pandas are black and white．They have big eyes．The giraffes are very tall．I like them，too.

    Jack and Tina are good friends. This Sunday they will go to the Palace Museum. It is old and beautiful. It's about six hundred years old. It is famous in the world. This will be their second time to go there. They hope it will be sunny that day. Jack's mother says, “There are many things there. When you look in the windows, you can see many old tables and chairs.” They will take pictures. They think it will be a wonderful trip!

    Danny is a boy. He's tall. He's fat. Now he and his mum are at the supermarket. The supermarket is very big. There are many toys in it. They are balls, dolls, kites, bicycles and so on. Danny likes footballs very much. They buy a big football. Danny likes kites, too. They buy a blue small kite. They can fly the kite and play football in the park. Danny is very happy.

    I'd like to invite you to my birthday party at my home. It's next Saturday, March 10th. My friends will come together and have fun on this special day. We will sing a birthday song.     I'm Lisa. I'm ten years old. It's sunny and warm outside. I get up at 6:00 am. I go to shoe shop with my mom and dad in the morning. I want a pair of new shoes. I try on the new shoes of size five but they are too small. Then I try size six and they are just right. So I take them. They are very pretty but in the afternoon we go to my Grandpa's house. We have dinner at 6:30p.m.We eat tomatoes, green beans, fish, chicken, beef and noodles. And we have a very big birthday cake, too. What a big dinner! It's really a nice birthday for me. I'm very happy with my family.
