It was a long hard fight, but by now it was 1and this helped us very much. We ran here and there in the trees, calling and2. The enemies could not see us and did not know how many of us they were 3In the end the first officer shouted to them：                                                  

“Put down your4and stop fighting! The captain has fifty island people to help him. We can kill you 5!”

     So the enemies 6 fighting and we took their guns. Three of the enemies7 to come to join us, but the others refused. So we 8them in my cave. I stayed to 9 the prisoners(犯人), while the captain and his men went back to fight for the ship.

     All night we listened to the 10of guns and shouting, but in the morning, when the sun  11, the captain was master of his ship again. I went down the shore(海岸) to meet him.

“My dear friend” he cried, “There's your12! I'll take you to the ends of the13in it!” I put my 14round him, and we laughed and cried together. How 15I was to leave the island.

 Henry was a kind, good boy. His father was dead, and his mother was very poor. He had a little sister about two years old. He wanted to 1his mother, for she could not always make enough money to buy food for her little 2.

 One day, a man gave him a dollar for3 a wallet which he had lost. Henry might have kept all the money, for no one saw him when he found it. 4his mother had taught him to be honest, and never keep what did not belong to him.

 With the dollar he bought a box, three brushes and some blacking. He5went to the corner of the street and said to every one whose boots(靴子) did not look nice, “6 your boots, sir, please?” He was so polite that gentleman soon began to notice him, and to let him black their boots. The first day he brought home fifty cents, which he gave to his mother to buy food with.

 When he gave her the money, she said, as she dropped a tear(泪水) of 7, “You are a dear, good boy, Henry. I did not know how I could make enough money to buy bread with, but now I think we can manage to 8 quite well. ”

 Henry worked all the day, and went to school in the evening. He made almost enough money to support his mother and his little sister.

    Peter is thirteen years old. He is in Grade Two this year. He likes 1 football and watch football matches. And he often 2 newspapers. He wants to know where and when a football match will be.

    I was bored last night. So I went to watch the film Treasure Island. I'm not a 1 of pirates(海盗), and I didn't watch many pirate movies. I think this movie is the best one I have seen. It took me to a world of pirates. Though they are pirates, 2 they aren't scary. Eddie Izzard 3 the role of Long John Silver in the movie. I think he acted best. I have never thought much of him. As an actor before, but the movie certainly beat my mind. Toby Regbo, who played Jim Hawkins, performed very 4, too. He told us that the real treasure to us was kindness, not the gold on the island. Other 5 also did a good job.

    The movie was really a 6. So I'd like to 7 it to you. I'm sure you will love it.

    Gwondo was a trainer of dogs. He would go out every day with his dogs, to1them how to catch animals so that all his tribe(部落) could eat.

    Wherever Gwondo went, his tribe could see him away in the distance 2his white hair would shine in the sunlight. The tribe3would say to their children, "See, there is Gwondo and his dogs, searching for4for us all." Gwondo went out hunting every day and always came5with much food. And all were very happy.

    Now Gwondo grew6and as all humans do, one day he died. The tribe felt sad and cried many days and many nights7one day the elders called to their children, "You have cried enough for Gwondo. Now it is time to8living. Go down to the beach and be happy."

    The children ran down to the beach and looked out to the sea.9 ， they all looked at each other, then turned and ran back to their elders，10, "Come quickly. Gwondo, he is back with us. He is out in the sea. "The elders hurried to the11and said, "Yes! It is Gwondo back! He is now a dolphin and lives in the sea."

    Now whenever you see12dolphins in the sea, look for the big old dolphin. You will know him because he has a large white fin on13back. He is Gwondo and he is training the young dolphins to chase(追逐)14close to the beach so that his tribe can catch them.

    Gwondo is known to all the tribes15the east coast of Australia. They call him their sea dog.
