Emily, an eight-year-old girl, is not very {#blank#}1{#/blank#} because she has so many rules to obey every day.  

     At school, she can't arrive {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. She has to get up early in the morning. She {#blank#}3{#/blank#} run or laugh in the hallways and she can't eat or listen to music in class. She agrees {#blank#}4{#/blank#} these rules because they're reasonable. But there are some rules she can't {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. For example, she has to {#blank#}6{#/blank#} her school uniform from Monday to Friday. She can't wear a cap or a hat in the classroom. She can't talk {#blank#}7{#/blank#} in the classroom. She has to {#blank#}8{#/blank#} the blackboard and the classroom once a week.

     She also has to keep some rules at home. For example, she can't hang out {#blank#}9{#/blank#} watch TV after school. She has to finish her homework first. She can't meet friends on school nights. And she has to be in {#blank#}10{#/blank#} by nine o'clock. {#blank#}11{#/blank#} Weekends, she has to clean her room and {#blank#}12{#/blank#} her clothes. And she has to {#blank#}13{#/blank#} her mum do housework. Later she has to go to the Children's Palace to {#blank#}14{#/blank#}dancing. She never has any {#blank#}15{#/blank#}. What an unhappy girl!

    People also love trying to memorize the digits of pi and {#blank#}1{#/blank#} against others to see who can remember the most. Many teachers hold class{#blank#}2{#/blank#} to see how many numbers their students can memorize. The Guinness World Record for{#blank#}3{#/blank#} the most digits of pi is held Suresh Kumar Sharma of India, who successfully recited pi out to 70,030 decimal places.

    Above all, Pi is about having fun with the number. People celebrate Pi Day by eating or throwing pie and with pi-related games and activities. This year, Princeton, New Jersey, held a birthday party for Albert Einstein whose birthday also{#blank#}4{#/blank#} on March 14. There was also a "Walk a Pi Event "where people walked 3.14 miles together. Just like the number itself, the possibilities for Pi Day are truly endless.

    Last weekend, we went to the countryside to have a picnic. We made some sandwiches to take {#blank#}1{#/blank#} us for lunch. We left quite early and there was not too much traffic at that time. After about two hours, we came to a nice {#blank#}2{#/blank#}. The water was very clear. After a swim, we had lunch under the trees. Then we went for a walk.

    We saw some {#blank#}3{#/blank#} birds and butterflies. After walking for an hour, we returned to our {#blank#}4{#/blank#} and began to drive home.

We got home very late and we were {#blank#}5{#/blank#}. But we enjoyed ourselves very much.
