    Time flies!A year has past since I came to this school.Many colorful activities had been organized by our school.     Yesterday, as I was queuing at the checkout at a store, there was an old lady in the front of me in line. She seemed very confusing when the cashier asked her pay US$38. She had about US$5 in her wallet. The cashier told her that she could not buy the items because she didn't have enough money. So, I told the cashier I would pay for that she bought. Afterwards, I paid for all the items. When I got outside, the lady was standing there. While I was talking about her, her daughter appeared. She told me that her mother had Alzheimer's disease. Then she noticed that her mother had three bag of groceries and wondered how she managed to pay for them with enough money. I told her that I had paid for it. The daughter wanted to pay me back, so I refused. I believe make others feel good makes me feel good.

    First of all, allow me to introduce myself. I had just graduated from high school and taken the University Entrance Examination. I want to find out a part-time job this summer. I'm 18 year old and have a good command of English, especial in terms of speaking and listening. In fact, I once won the first prize in the English speech competition hold in our school.     Last month, my classmate, John, caught bad cold. The news which he was running a high fever and ordinary medicine hadn't worked on him immediate reached everybody in our class.     It was Mother's day. I had the good idea after Mom had gone to do some shopping. I told Dad that I would do something specially to celebrate it. I asked Dad for advices. First we did some housework, that was always done by Mom. I mopped the floor carefully but Dad did some washing. Then we did what we could make some delicious dishes. I picked some flowers from the garden and put it in a vase. After that we went back to our own rooms, silently wait for Mom. When Mom returned to home and saw what had happened, she feels surprised and very happy.
