Everybody wants to be healthy. You know food is very important. There are many healthy foods. You can have more bananas, apples, oranges, tomatoes and potatoes. Because fruits and vegetables are good for you. But don't eat too much chocolate. It's bad for you. It's not good healthy food. Healthy food can make you grow and strong. Remember there is a saying, "An apple a day keeps the doctor away." Sports can also keep you healthy. Get up early and do some sports every day. You will be healthy and happy.

Mary: Peter, what's your favourite subject?

Peter: My favourite subject is science. What's Lisa's favourite subject?

Mary: Her favourite subject is math.

Amy: I like math, too. But my favourite subject is Chinese. Whose favourite subject is English?

Mary: That's my favourite subject.

    Mr and Mrs Green's house is far from the city. There are no big shops near their home. So they only go shopping at weekends.

    One Saturday morning, Mr and Mrs Green go shopping with their son, Tom. Mr Green drives the car to a big shop. It sells clothes. Mrs Green likes them. So she chooses a dress and tries it on. It looks great on her. She buys it for herself. Then she buys a shirt for her son and a sweater for her husband. After that, they go to a supermarket to buy some food and fruit.

    At about eleven o'clock, they all feel hungry. They have their lunch at a restaurant. After lunch, they want to go home. But they cannot find their way. Mr Green drives over to a woman and asks, "Excuse me, could you tell me where I am now?" The old woman looks at him and the car, "You are in your car, sir," she answers.

    Danny is having lunch with his friend Peter. Peter is very fat. He likes good food, and a lot of it. They sit at a table. They buy some nice things.

After lunch they eat some other food. "We must go, Peter," Danny says.

    "We are here for a long time. It's three fifty now."

    "We can't leave now," says Peter. "It's time for tea.”

Spring is warm. It often rains. I can plant trees and flowers in spring. The spring is green everywhere. Summer is hot, but winter is cold. I can play in the snow in winter. Autumn is the third season. Leaves begin to become yellow and fall. Autumn is a good season. I can help my mother pick apples. I like autumn best.
