Scoring a goal is always worth celebrating. The Chinese striker (前锋) called Wu Lei scored his first goal in La Liga (西甲) on March 2. He is the first Chinese player {#blank#}1{#/blank#} has scored in the top European league. Few other goals could be compared to it so that lots of Chinese fans celebrated it {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (wide) — some of them even cried with joy.

    "I'm so excited! Several {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (month) ago I was scoring in the Chinese Super League, but now I've scored in La Liga. It's {#blank#}4{#/blank#} dream come true for me," Wu said after scoring.

    Wu is now a member of the Spanish club Espanyol. He joined the club{#blank#}5{#/blank#} the end of January. But in just his {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (five) match on the field, he scored his first goal. The coach Rubi said Wu is like "a floating feather (飘着的羽毛) with great speed."

    Wu was quite strict with {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (him) while training. He ever got hurt when he first joined the team, {#blank#}8{#/blank#}  he wanted to start training right away. He also told his coach that he didn't want to be treated any differently simply because he was Chinese.

    {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (fit) into the team better, Wu s learning Spanish. He practices talking with his teammates every day. He {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (learn) enough so far, so he has no problems with language. His hard work has helped him win the trust of his teammates.

    Of course, Wu's first goal is just the beginning. Chinese fans are looking forward to seeing what he'll do in the future.

    It was a quarter past Tine Mr. Beet hadn't come back His wife was a bit worried. The super was cold and she had waited for two and a half hours. She was sitting by the table in a dark room.     Her husband worked in an office. He worked hard so that he was paid a lot. He and his wife only had to pay {#blank#}4{#/blank#} their food and clothes. They tried to save money.     Suddenly the woman {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (hear) someone coming upstairs. It was her husband who came back. She hurried to open the door. In the dark she could hear his deep breathing. As {#blank#}7{#/blank#} as he sat down, she turned on the light and found he looked very tired.

    "{#blank#}8{#/blank#} do you come back so late, dear?" asked the woman. "Didn't you take the bus?”

    "No, I didn't take it. I ran after it and I saved two dollars this evening."

    "That's great!" the woman said {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (happy). "Run after a taxi next time and you {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (save) even.

    Night after night, she came to help me sleep, even long after my childhood years.

    I don't remember {#blank#}1{#/blank#} it first started making me a little angry- my mom's hands pushing my hair that way. But it really made me {#blank#}2{#/blank#} ( comfortable), for they felt rough (粗糙的) against my young skin. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} (final), one night, I shouted at her, "Don't do that anymore. Your hands are too rough!" She didn't say anything, {#blank#}4{#/blank#} she never did it again.

    Years later, I missed my mother's hands and her goodnight kiss on my face. I'm not a little girl any more. My mom is {#blank#}5{#/blank#} her mid-seventies，and her rough hands are still doing things for my family and me.

    Now my own children have grown up. It was late on Thanksgiving Eve. As I slept in my bedroom, a familiar hand ran across {#blank#}6{#/blank#} (I) face to push the hair from my head. Then a kiss, ever so {#blank#}7{#/blank#}(soft), touched my brow(额头).
