Cartoon is the most popular TV program that attracts many children at the age 3 to 10. It's {#blank#}1{#/blank#}  that the word "cartoon" came from Italian. It first referred to the picture before a true drawing on the wall. In the mid-19th century, it came into English.  {#blank#}2{#/blank#}  the 1840s , it has also come to mean any picture that is humorous, satirical(讽刺的) or showing an opinion. It usually comes out in a newspaper and magazine, with or  {#blank#}3{#/blank#}  a short text. Today cartoons are a  {#blank#}4{#/blank#}  of the daily life of most people. Cartoons not only show their life,  {#blank#}5{#/blank#}    also help them relax.

    A woman is going shopping. She is going by boat. The boat is going a{#blank#}1{#/blank#} the river, Her basket is empty. Oh dear! Look! Her basket is in the w{#blank#}2{#/blank#} "Help!" she says. "Look! My basket is in the river."

    A boy sees the basket, He says, "Don't worry! I can get it! I'm a very good s{#blank#}3{#/blank#} ." He takes off his shoes and shirt. "Look a{#blank#}4{#/blank#} my shirt and shoes, please!" he says and then jumps into the river.

    A d{#blank#}5{#/blank#} sees the basket. "I can go by basket!" it thinks. It gets to the basket. The boy's swimming in the river." Where's the basket?" he calls. "It's over there!" calls the woman." It's behind you! It's u{#blank#}6{#/blank#}, that duck!" The boy gets to the basket." Go away!" he says to the duck. The duck j{#blank#}7{#/blank#} out of the basket and swims away. The boy takes the basket to the land. "Oh, thank you!" says the woman. "Thank you very much!"

    "Not at all," says the boy. "Do you have my shirt and shoes, please?"

    "Yes, here you are. Oh, what's in the basket? It's the duck's egg!"
