Last year I went to Australia to study and travel. I stayed in Sydney for three months. I visited {#blank#}1{#/blank#} (place) of interest in the morning and took English lessons in the afternoon. A friend and I stayed in a host {#blank#}2{#/blank#} (family) in Sydney. The family were very friendly {#blank#}3{#/blank#} us. We talked about a lot of things with each other in English. My spoken English improved greatly in {#blank#}4{#/blank#} (Australian).I used to speak very little English in China. But in Australia, I had to use it very often. I was soon able to {#blank#}5{#/blank#} with my teachers and host family freely. To me, the best place in Australia is the Sydney Opera House. You can look at it from different sides. It is beautiful. I cannot {#blank#}6{#/blank#} very well, but when I was inside, I really wanted to sing. Time {#blank#}7{#/blank#} (fly) while I was in Sydney. Soon came Christmas, then the New Year. I had to spend the New Year {#blank#}8{#/blank#} (with) my parents. I felt a little lonely. I missed them so much. In the evening, {#blank#}9{#/blank#} (call) them. When I heard their {#blank#}10{#/blank#} (voice), I began to cry. My host mother held me in her arms and comforted(安慰) me. How kind they are!
