Emily was stressed(焦虑不安) for days about her school project. She was so busy and had no time to work on it. Then, the night before it was due( 到期的), her dad came to  her. "He said he was just going to help a little bit," said Emily. Three hours later, Emily's dad a great work of art. It was no sunrise that Emily got an A.

    Many parents think it is their duty(责任) to help their children with school work. It's  to see why kids need help. In most US schools, homework  more time and effort than it once did. Studies  that many kids are stressed over school. With spots, music lessons, and other activities, it's hard to find time to do hours of homework every night. Some kids also that if they don't get help from their parents, they won't do as well as classmates who do get help.

    Could this helping be hurting? Many experts(专家) say yes, especially when parents cross the line  helping ~d doing.

    Homework is a way to practise what you have learned. Many teachers say that students who can't do their homework should let the teacher so that they can get more help.

    A recent study looked at kids who got a lot of homework help from parents. These kids scored  on tests than kids who did homework by themselves.

    Kids are Busy, but part of growing up is learning to balance (同等重视) activities and schoolwork. And you ask for help, just make sure you are the one who is doing the learning.
