Unsurprisingly, people who are very busy also tend to be very successful and knowledgeable, so it's in your interest to befriend with them. But how do you talk to such busy people in order to make friends with them?{#blank#}1{#/blank#} the same rules apply. However, there are a few specific rules for talking with busy people in particular.

Remember that even busy people are social creatures. That people are busy doesn't mean they don't want to chat with others or they don't enjoy it.{#blank#}2{#/blank#} Busy people can be very social and friendly. Like anyone else, they have a deep-seated need to socialize and make friends.

{#blank#}3{#/blank#} They know they're capable and in demand, but it doesn't mean they expect others to prove themselves to them. The best use of your time talking with busy people is not in trying to impress them. Focus on making a conversation and creating a connection, not on proving yourself.

How to Be a Good Tourist

We travel not only for work but also for fun and learning. Restaurants, galleries, temples and architecture...These places are like homes for people who live and work there. How would you want visitors to behave in your own home? {#blank#}1{#/blank#} There are many ways of doing this without sacrificing our own holiday.

Do your homework. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Guides will help you when you get to the site, but is that the best place to go? Is it popular only because the one-day tourist can see it easily or because it is really a worthwhile place to visit? You'd better check it out.

{#blank#}3{#/blank#} Walk around, even if in the streets closest to your hotel. Eat in local restaurants. Talk to the locals. Learn a few in the local language and use them. You will surely get a smile from the hotel staff and street sellers.

Help preserve the sites. Most of the sites you visit may be visited by millions of people a year, so care needs to be taken to allow others to enjoy them as well. Some of these monuments are so old and fragile that they are sensitive to the touch of hands or bags and shows. {#blank#}4{#/blank#} This way, you don't encourage the use of those plastic bags that fly all over many sites.

And here's the big one — good manners are nearly universal. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} If that doesn't sound like you, then give the world a break and stay home.

I counted how many foreign languages I've studied so far in my life and it's been twelve!

I always follow my interests and find ways to put my language learning into things I'm already interested in. I like to read blogs(博客) in other languages.{#blank#}1{#/blank#}. For the most part, bloggers tend to write the same way they speak, so I don't have to worry much about adopting strange terms that are only used in writing.

Movies are also a really good tool, especially if you can find subtitles in the language you're learning.{#blank#}2{#/blank#}, they will still keep your brain listening and reading in the same language. Music is another way to start listening to things in your new language. Personally, I'm so bad at understanding lyrics(歌词) even in English, so this one doesn't really work for me, but I have friends who learn a language through lyrics. Games are of course also an excellent way of studying a new language. A lot of language learning computer programs include games. I'm super competitive and if I play any of them, I can be hooked for hours.{#blank#}3{#/blank#}.

When the initial excitement of learning a new language begins to fade, it can be hard to stick with it. The hardest bit for me is when I'm comfortable enough with a language to understand most things and make myself understood. I'm actually stuck at this stage in Norwegian. {#blank#}4{#/blank#}. Ideally I should sign up to take a big language exam. Each time I start getting selfsatisfied, it's time to take a new course or sign up for online lessons, or take up some sort of challenge that will require me to level up my skills.

{#blank#}5{#/blank#}. The best language class I've ever taken was my beginner's Russian course at university where my professor never used any English. It got to the point where I would kind of just forget about English while in Russian class, which helped me to really immerse myself in the Russian language and do a whole lot with the limited Russian I had.

A. That's really uncomfortable

B. Whatever languages they're translated into

C. I also try to think in the language I'm learning

D. It's time well spent if I'm learning the language

E. Computer games always make me feel worn out

F. Though they don't always exactly match what's being said

G. I found them the perfect learning tool because they're usually written in oral language

The Hanfu, cheongsam (or qipao), Tang suit, and Zhongshan suit are the four most distinctive types of traditional Chinese clothing.

The Hanfu is one of China's oldest traditional clothes, dating back over 3,000 years. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Until the Han Dynasty, the Hanfu was adopted and strongly promoted. It then became the national clothing of the Han ethnic(民族的) people. It also had a far-reaching influence on neighboring Asian countries. Nowadays, the clothing gains in popularity again especially on special occasions.

The cheongsam originated in the Qing Dynasty. It has mainly developed into Beijing styles, Shanghai styles and Hong Kong styles. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Beijing styles are more traditional and conservative and brighter. More Western elements are used in the designs and colors of Shanghai styles. Hong Kong styles have shorter sleeves and are always decorated in a simpler way.

The Tang suit, in many cases, refers to a type of Chinese jacket rather than the clothing of the Tang Dynasty. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} As the Tang Dynasty was famous for being powerful in the world, foreigners called the Chinese people living abroad "the Tang people" and their clothes "Tang suits". Traditional Tang suits usually have Chinese characters on them to express good luck or best wishes.

{#blank#}4{#/blank#} Nowadays, Tang suits are a kind of formal dress worn on special occasions like Chinese New Year.

First advocated by Sun Yat-sen, the Zhongshan suit, also known as the Mao suit, is a type of men's jacket. They can be worn on formal and casual occasions because of their symmetrical(对称的) shape, general appearance, elegance, and stable impression. The colors of Zhongshan suits are various, but usually plain, including black, white, blue, and grey. {#blank#}5{#/blank#}.

A. This name came from overseas.

B. The most popular ones include fu and shou.
