根据短文内容,从短文后的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项(选项中有两项为多余选项)。

    Most of us will admit that on occasions we can be bad-tempered. This can be for a number of reasons.

    As the body and mind are tired, it seems to take us less time to become angry just because of something that is of little importance. Young children are usually the cause of tiredness and it is highly likely that parents allow themselves to release(释放) their exhaustion directly at the children. Children are very good at remembering these instances and it will affect them for a long time.

    Diet and lifestyle can be key factors in causing a bad temper. Some people don't realize that their diet can directly affect their moods. Processed food and items that contain a lot of sugars, especially those that aren't natural sugars, can cause a rise in blood sugar. Similarly, lifestyle choices can encourage bad tempers and poor moods, especially if drug and alcohol are used too frequently.

    If you have noticed that you are becoming increasingly bad-tempered, it is important that you take steps to try and regain control. After you find the cause, try and make positive changes to prevent this from occurring in the future.

A. Find your ways to release your anger.

B. Check what it is that causes the bad mood.

C. Tiredness is often the most common reason.

D. Managing your anger is good for your health.

E. Therefore, it is important to have more patience when with children.

F. This rise can have a very negative effect on moods and mental performance.

G. So it is important to keep away from these temptations(诱惑) for your own mental state.

    When we are little, we know nothing about the rights and responsibilities of adulthood. {#blank#}1{#/blank#} Thus, if we like a certain toy or if we want to eat a certain type of chocolate, we think that our parents will have to buy that for us.  We don't care that they possibly have not enough money for that. If they don't carry out our wish, we'll begin to cry. {#blank#}2{#/blank#} Whenever we begin to cry, we'll get what we want.

    Still, little by little, we realize that our parents can't offer us all that we want for certain reasons. We then also understand that parents have their rights. They have the right to scold us when we do something wrong or when they find out that we have lied to them. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} They choose our clothes, the food we eat, the school we will study at, the hours when we should go out to play and the time we have to return home.

    {#blank#}4{#/blank#} They are the ones to blame later if we don't receive proper education. That's why when we beat a classmate at the kindergarten, parents are the ones to apologize for our deeds in front of the teacher and the classmate's parents. And when we get ill, they are responsible for not taking good care of us and for dressing us inadequately.

    The moment we become teenagers, we notice that we should be responsible for the society. Now we have the right to be independent. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} It is supposed that we are mature enough to solve our problems and to make people around trust us. For some of us, this is a difficult test to pass, but it is the best method to see if we are capable of taking our place in society.

A. We think our parents should offer us all we need.

B. We should believe we can do them by ourselves.

C. This is a child's important weapon to threaten his/her parents.

D. Moreover, they have the right to make choices for us when we are little.

Effective Ways to Protect Our Planet

We only have one earth. However, humans haven't been very good protectors of the earth over the years. To leave a fine planet for our children and future generations, we all need to take steps to develop better living habits. {#blank#}1{#/blank#}

Buy less. Cheap goods in the sales may make your life better, but few of those are essential. And they almost always end up in the trash can or are forgotten in the back of a. closet. So next time you're hesitating about buying or accepting a non-essential item, think over whether it will truly improve your life. {#blank#}2{#/blank#}

Turn waste into treasure. {#blank#}3{#/blank#} Not only does it keep items out of trash cans, but it can also prevent you from buying new items, which require lots of resources to produce. Moreover, children love making things. So instead of heading towards the craft store, check out your recycling bin first and improve your children's imagination.

{#blank#}4{#/blank#}Did you know it takes over 700 gallons of water to grow enough cotton to make just one plain T-shirt? Instead of going to the mall to buy new clothes, you can consider looking first in a secondhand shop or trading clothes. Second-hand shopping also applies to many other categories of consumer goods such as furniture, cars and children's toys.

Walk, bike or car sharing.According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), a typical passenger vehicle emits (排放) about 4.6 metric tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) per year. Thus, any amount of what you can cut back on will matter. For short trips, you can try walking or biking. {#blank#}5{#/blank#} If travelling on foot or by bike isn't practical, you can try carpooling with a friend, neighbour or coworker to the same destination.

A. Save water.

B. Choose second-hand stores.

C. If not, it's okay to just say, "No, thanks!"

D. And here are some ways to protect the environment.

E. Plastic bottles are a clear example of waste material.

F. In this way, you can get some exercise without going to the gym.

G. Creating something new with unwanted items is a good way to protect the environment.
