Pan Jianwei, " Father of quantum (量子) " , was born in Zhejiang in March 1970. After he{#blank#}1{#/blank#} at the University of Science and Technology of China from 1985 to 1995, Pan went to Vienna in 1996 for further studies and stayed there until 2001. Then he returned to the Chinese university as a physics professor and began to build a quantum science research team at the university.
